Assignment one.

I should’ve never bought…

I bought my advent net book for £249 2 years ago for Christmas and it was very useful at first, and worth the money I paid. It had 1gb of hard drive memory and about 190gb of memory in general. It was also easy to use, as it had straight forward programs that were useful as well as having a built in firewall, that wasn’t complicated to set-up and turn on. It was also very portable because it is a lightweight net book and not very big, and had a battery life that lasted over 3hours, which was good for me because I never used it for longer than that. However when trying to use the built in wireless it didn’t pick up my wireless modem, and after several I.t experts attempting to fix the wireless problem, there was no success. I ended up having to buy a dongle, which then worked. Another un-useful feature of the laptop was how the advent company automatically install some programs I never use and come with the net book, which I thought was pointless to do. The net book was also good because it had a nice jet black colour to it, along with being easy to hold in your hand as it was easy to hold in your hand and comfortable it also involved some ergonomics. Another useful feature was that it had built in Bluetooth so it was capable of using the Bluetooth with a mobile phone. Overall I like my net book because despite it’s disadvantages it has a lot of useful advantages and attributes which make it worth having, however it is very annoying due to the fact i have to have a dongle to use wireless which makes me wish i never bought it.
